Subject: Code generated by AutoGeneratedPackage->True
Prior to Mathematica 6, when the option AutoGeneratedPackage->True was
set, the resulting .m file contained text that was interpreted as
boxes and passed through MakeExpression before being evaluated. This
seems to have changed.

Can anyone confirm the details of this change? Is the change
documented somewhere?

This change breaks packages that use MakeExpression and rely on boxes
being created when executing the contents of the .m file. Is there a
way to recover the previous behaviour of AutoGeneratedPackage?
