Maple 16.02 graphical glitch using ApproximateInt?

with(Student[Calculus1]):
ApproximateInt(x,x=0..1,method=left,partition=4,output=plot)

The rectangles are not displayed on the graph but when use the "hand" (right click on graph -> Manipulator ->
Pan) and drag the graph down I see the rectangles pop up then drag it back up the rectangles disappear.

Anyone else having this problem?

This appears to be due to a bug in the 2D plot renderer, introduced in the point-release 16.02.

There is a link to a patched .jar file here,

That mapleprimes comment contains an FTP link (from maplesoft.com) and instructions on placing the single .jar file. You might want to rename the old file, before replacing.

It seems to allow your given example to render ok.
