Lyx+Maple under MS Win

Has anyone succeeded in getting Lyx and Maple to work together
under MS Windows, and if so how? I know I can get Lyx to use
Octave to do calculations; but I can't seem to get it to do the
same calculations by calling Maple.

For example: in Lyx 1.6.5 I enter a math formula: 1+1 ; then do
Edit -> Math -> Use Computer Algebra system -> Octave ; and Lyx
fills in "=2". If instead of Octave I select Maple,Simplify I
get the equals sign, but no answer.)
