maple inputs and outputs dispeared and replced by "?"

I had saved a maple worksheet, but the inputs and outputs have
disappeared and replaced by ? marks.

What is going on with this? Does anyone else have this problem? Yf so,
how do I avoid future occurrences of something like this?

I'm running maple 11.01 on windows vista 64 bit.
I saved it using save as and chose .mw format. I opened it again by
double clicking on it.

By the way, the worksheet has a very large output in it.

Last night it was all gone, but when i reopened it just now, it has
the biggest output intact and all the inputs and outputs before that
large output are replaced with the "?"

If you do the same with a small worksheet, what happens?

If you open it from within Maple, what happens?

This is really quite bizzare.

I clicked on the link posted by Michael Komma below. And it directed
me to some german website that had a java app in it. It was in german
so i closed it and then I read your reply.

When i reopened the mw file that I was having problems with, all the
inputs and outputs were back.. Odd.

Ok So I tested your last suggestion, If I open the file from maple
everything is ok... (File menu then open,. etc ) Not sure if my
installation is bad or what.

Does anyone else have this problem?

When my old laptop died I replaced it by a new machine running Windows
7, after which my installation of Maple 11 no longer worked properly.
I could open an existing worksheet from within Maple, run it, change
it, etc., but could not save it. Nor could I start a new worksheet.
The solution was to contact Maplesoft and obtain via download a new
installation of Maple 11. Apparently, just about the time Maple 11 was
issued Microsoft changed to the windows Vista system, and some Maple
things no longer worked. The new installation works perfectly, and
cost me nothing to obtain because I already had a valid licence for
the older installation.
