I have several points some of which are so close they overlap, I'm
using ArcGIS how do you get it to display these points so they all can
be seen?
I have seen some maps where this happens, they overcame this by having
a line coming form the grid reference to the displayed point for only
the clustered points.

If your projects were setup with relatibve paths then that should be ok.
otherwise the paths will be absolute and you will have t find a way to
change all refrences to the new drive. ArcCatalog has a mechanism for this
but you have to do it for each project. Not only that the updating process
strips VBA code and customizations out of the copied MXD. You could aslo

Is there a way to move
all of my GIS folders to the drive D and the make a global change to
have ArcMap, ArcScene and ArcCatalog look in Drive D for files
previously "pathed" to Drive C?

I want
to export the shapefile of the intersection of these shapfiles. ie:
(shapefileA) union (shapefileB). basically the common area of the
shapefile. How do i go about getting this shapefile?
Thanks in advance.
John

GDBT (Geodatabase Performance Toolkit) is a free extension (for both
ArcMap and ArcCat) that allows you to test the response time of
layers, generate = load against a server, tune spatial indexes, and
visualize the state tree /= manager users (on ArcGIS server).
It's a great tool that should be part of ArcGIS Desktop core:

It now seems that my theoretical throughput
which should be 18 -36mbyte/s has hit a limit of 6mb/s (I have
evidence to support but to complicated to explain).
