how to upload data in excel to GIS Arc view polygon

can someone teach me how to add datas in excel format into the polygon
map??

I am not sure for ArcGis9.2, but if you have a previous version, you can
not. Save your .xls files as .dbf files, or import them in a
geodatabase. Then, load your tables and polygons in Arcgis, right click
on the polygon layer, in the table of content, and choose "join & relate
/ join"
