[Uniface-L] Performance testing on Compuware Uniface applications using HP LoadRuneer 9.10

Hi,

Could you please let me know which protocol do i need to to record scripts in HP LoadRunner for Uniface applications load testing? I did try WinSoc but could not record did try some other but no luck.

Hi Srinivas,


We used the “Terminal Emulation (RTE)” for recording the scripts. However, we had some problems in mapping certain Function keys using this.

Thanks Gargi for your reply.

Could you please explain bit more about this, I just tried to record script using RTE but i couldn't, I never use this before.

When I choose  this  protocol  its not giving options like what  program to choose etc.. and then i click on start recording  saying launching application and then open a new window called  LKTAZ4Y:1317 PowerTerm (by Ericom Software).

Here I did try couple of options like open terminal setup and its asking .pts (terminal set up files) but this Uniface application has .nal extension and did try clicking on start recording button on script tab nothing i can see even though i open Uniface application manually.

Your help and suggestion will be great appreciated.
