how to change the print mode -for a custom size

Dear all,
I'm going to print "cheque"[with the counter foil] through the uniface
application build from 8.4.06 version. i have tried with MSWINX and
MSWIN3 print models. but cannot adjust the printing area. though i
have set the paper size to the actual size in the windows print man.
it wont print in the correct area. then i have used the print mode 4 .
actually that was halfway adjusted to the printing area. but the
"cheque size" is beyond the portrait size.
Actual cheque size is width = 10.24" , Height =3.15" . Can anyone
specify me the way to adjust/program .
