Downloader Agent, Trojan??

I am having a really difficult time removing a suspected trojan.

The trojan is reportedly named "Agent.2.bn" by Grisoft's AVG.
Everytime it is detected, we run a full scan with AVG-IT DOES NOT FIND
IT!

Then I downloaded a free-to-try trojan remover. It does not find it
either but it seems to somehow kill this trojan.

Everything run as normal and is going smoothly. No warnings from AVG,
etc.

Next morning, it is detected again by AVG. Repeat the process.

How do I get rid of this thing once and for all?

I would appreciate any help or assistance.
