Need to modify .htaccess

Lately some 'dea' i.e. non-existat phishing pages are
turning but are getting redirected accordingly.

How can I get .htaccess to be pro-active so that dead pages will
redirect to an error page of choosing?

Without knowing what webserver you are using it is rather hard to
advise.

If you're running Apache, then RTFM for ErrorDocument
