It looks like some of the incoming SSH2_MSG_CHANNEL_DATA logs have the word PuTTY repeated over and over in them, as well, towards the end:

I download the file via SFTP and the string PuTTY does not occur in it. Yet I do "cat filename.ext" even via PuTTY's interactive shell and the last few blocks of the file contain the string PuTTY a bazillion times. Then it seems that the shell (not PuTTY but the shell) just hangs until I do Ctrl + C.
Any ideas?
