Just wondering if anyone else has come across this annoying issue.
putty.exe is complaining that " There is no disk in the drive. Please
insert a disk into drive D:." I deleted the registry keys for putty
and even removed the putty.rnd from the %APPDATA% but for some reason
when I create any new profiles I get this annoying message. The D:
drive is a CD drive (at least currently.) Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Belay my last. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't try rebooting
before posting. A reboot fixed my issues.

Don't belay that question. It is a persistent problem. We shouldn't have to reboot every time we used PuTTY and happen to put a CD or DVD in the drive.

Yes have the same exact problem, using putty with Arduino serial comport. The problem started when I mistakenly rebooted Arduino Micro with the reset button while Putty was connected and dumping data to Putty Terminal.
