The computer vision expert "Motters"
has published a blog-post about the

http://www.bilibot.com

which aims to build "an affordable,
open source robotics platform."

http://streebgreebling.blogspot.com/2011/06/one-more-personal-robot.html

is where the Big Cheese Motters
presents a video of the Bilibot.

Somehow it is reminiscent of the

http://www.914pcbots.com/community

phenomenon, where the robot was an
amazing package but still too expensive
for robot amateurs to afford. Maybe the
(billig = cheap) Bilibot has finally
broken through the price barrier
to become the Next Big Thing
of personal robotics.
