I'm seaching for a couple of books on Real-Time Software
Systems and any university classes in the Bay area. I have located
some books, but they all seem to spend a lot of time on Software
Engineering, System Engineering, and methodologies.
Two possiblities come to mind; there is not realy much to write about, and
the publisher can'nt exactly sell a 50 page book lucratively, or I haven't
seen nothing yet.
I'm looking for a primer, cut to the cheese type of book with some examples
in C or assembly as talking about real-time is much easier than getting
down and dirty.
Also, is there any classes that I might be able to benefit from. This could
be with universities, extensions, or the like.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations. Although I do intend to
subscribe to this newsgroup, but for this task a direct mail response
is greatly appreciated.
