Whenever I choose the TEXT icon and type a letter it's either the
outline of the letter only in red OR the letter is outlined in red
filled with blue!
This thing is annoying enuff without this all the time. This is by far
the worst non-intuitive CD jewel case maker I have ever used.
What do I do to make it print SOLID color letters without having to
highlight the ugly ones and then choose the paintbucket to fill them
with red?
Thank you,
Accomac
It's been a while since I used it. My recollection is that you use the
Brush tool to fill them up. Double click the text box to bring up
Properties and select Brush tab.
Here's the user guide:
http://ftp6.nero.com/user_guides/nero6/coverdesigner/NeroCoverDesigner_Ena.pdf
Figured out how I did it:
Nero Cover Designer > New document > Standard > Data > Empty Document >
Click OK.
Click Text Box Tool and draw a box. To enter text, double-click the
inside the text box. Do not enter text in the text box directly using
the Artist Text tool.
Hi smh,
Thanks again for helping me with this stupid thing. I am still
SOLDIERING ON with it after all these months!!! it irritates me that I
have to relearn it each time I use it.
Using your method it 'does' allow solid text to be put in the box
outline, but I guess I wasn't clear in my question. I wanted to be
able to put text anywhere on a blank template without the box outline.
I have since figured out that I can use the 'artistic text tool' and
then alternate between the brush and pen icon to make the letters one
solid color. If you want a red text, you have to make the brush and
the pen both red, or you end up with some horrible color combo with
the center being one color and the outline being another! <grrr>
I'd love to use your method but I hate those freaking box outlines and
I see no way to eliminate them.
But thanks for taking the time to look at your program and figure it
out for me. As always you've been helpful and I appreciate it.
I'm sure you don't remember but I am the one who told you about the CD
Text add on for Windows Media Player almost a year ago. Then Comcast
took away my newsgroups and I only recently got back to this group
using Google.
Thanks again and best wishes,
Accomac

You have no appreciation for impressionist painting! <g>

The text border printing is on by default. To turn that off, right click
the text box, select Properties and then the Pen tab. Click the X button
to turn off the border. The border will go away when outside the text
box is clicked. (This took me a long time to discover and it came by
accident.)

Now I remember! Your cd text plugin points out that we were helpful to
each other.

Same to you, and keep soldiering on.
