Hi,

I rename say testaudio.wav to test.wav using windows explorer.

Use Nero's ADD panel to add test.wav: I close the panel.

Nero says the track's name is still testaudio.wav.

Rebooted but still same.
Googled to find how to ensure Nero use the files new name but with no
success.

Can any one solve this?

Thanks Norm

That's too bizarre. What version of Windows are you using? Try cleaning
out Temp directory? Run CHKDSK on the hard drive to see if there are
errors?

XP home retail fully patched.
chkdsk-- no problem found.

Tried writing files as a data disc --- renamed files remain renamed,
good.
Tried again writing as an audio CD - problem still there.

Anyway I have download Imgburn and learning how do cd-text with it,
will probably abandon Nero.
