Cannot see my external drive appear on my computer

Please assist me.
I have used my external drive on an mac/apple laptop and all of sudden
all my files dissappeared. I suppect of virus and brough my external
drive to my PC-windows 2007 to run virus scan (SHOPOS virus). To my
dissapointment the external drive or E drive did not appear on my PC.... more »

I fell in love with the net and all the compuiter teahcnology in the very early years and have loved it ever since, I have an IT Degree and Communications degree and will be working on my doctorate for the next five years, in bwetween I design websites, databases, Multimedia Produxction or anything that wil make me a penny, just student scraping by. But Guess what? I don't want your money, your e-mail, or anything. Each of these sites has a specific topic but they have them style and layout sothey are easy to navigate and ther a search function should take you to exactly where youwant to, or just explore, they have outside service you can acccess as well. Each site has 10,000 plus articles and they are updated everyday so you know you are gettin up to date information. ENough, here the computer and tech related sites.... more »

Unable to read my burned CDs and DVDs in various DVD-ROM drives...

Hello! Is it me or do some old DVD-ROM drives have serious problems reading burned discs (CD-R, CD-RWs, DVD-Rs, DVD+Rs, DVD+RWs, DVD-RWs [assuming they can read them])? It can be unable to read the whole disc (e.g., Explorer says to insert disc) or partially discs (e.g., can't copy specific files). I have seen this at work and home with many IDE/PATA... more »

I have a stereo that say it has cd-r/rw, its a 3 disc changer... has a radio and cassette player. Sharp, i do not know how it works, can someone help me....? can i play a cassette and copy it at the same time? can i copy from the radio? not sure how it works....
