Where can I get the best price on the Yamaha 102 CD burner? I was told
that they can be had as low as $739! I have not seen them much under
$1000.

Thanks,
Corey

jeremy gray at cdr micro has it for $739.
www.calweb.com/~gray1

andy grasser at scsi per has it for $755.
sweb.srmc.com/andys/cdroms.html#recorder

both places take credit cards. i am NOT affilated to any of them. i've
spoken to both of them on the phone. jeremy seems extremely nice.
grasser, well, no comment.

i am also looking to buy a yamaha cdr-120 also. anyone care to share
experience/nice stories/horror stories about any of the dealers?

hope this answers your question.

I bought mine from the 1st one you mentioned after reading your
message. He politely answered all my questions and was very kind.
He said that if I go by ground shipping I would get the drive by
Friday and he would ship it that day. Well when Friday rolled around,
I was very anxious... well it showed up just on time! I ordered a
CDR102 and Incat EzCDPRO. I have burned about 10 Audio CD's so far
without ANY hitches. It is hard to believe that so many people are
having problems. I guess that is why I bought a Yamaha.

Yes, I agree. I never had any problems with my Yamaha. I know of a
few people that use the Yamaha, and QUITE extensively. I never
noticed any problems at all...
