I understand how I can setup a Bind Master and Bind Slave and have the
Master update the slave for zones I have configured. However, our Bind DNS
Master (ns1) is managed by software we use which also creates new zones
(only on the master)

I am looking for a way to configure our Bind slave (ns2) to automatically
update itself with new zones that have been added on the master (ns1) so
that we do not need to manually update ns2 with new zone information.

Thanks
Flavio

There's nothing built into BIND that will do this.

If the named.conf file on the master is created by software, it
shouldn't be too hard to modify that software so that it also creates
the named.conf file for the slaves. Then you can transfer that file
with scp.
