No link related traps generated

Hi,

My freebsd box is not sending link status traps on opennms. Below is
my snmpd.conf

sysDescr FreeBSD 8.2 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+
syslocation cebu
syscontact m...@example.com
sysObjectId 1.3.6.1.4.1.24417.7
override hrSystemInitialLoadParameters.0 octet_str "me does the
dance!"
defaultMonitors yes
linkUpDownNotifications yes
trapsink 172.16.12.1:162 public

Looks like you're having a net-snmp problem. Might be better answered in the net-snmp users mailing list.

- include full details of exact commands and error messages
("I've tried everything, and it doesn't work" isn't much use!)

- don't mail the developers privately - keep everything on the list
