Subject: Kerberos configure makes bad Makefiles on my system....

when I do a kerberos v1.0 ./configure, a problem in my system makes the
defines line in the Makefiles look like this:

DEFS =  \#define\ NO_YYLINENO\ 1 \#define\ HAS_STRDUP\ 1 \#define\
USE_DIRENT_H\

What in my system setup do I need to fix to change this to the correct
behavior?  Thanks.  I suspect some strange interaction of autoconf with my
system, but I am stuck on how to get to the problem.

Thanks much!!!

Well, I found the problem as soon as I though about this a bit.  I had two
versions of sed on my machine, and the first one in the path was old and
failed to do the DEF formation properly.  It did not correctly handle the
script file.  All is good now!
