Question about concatenations
|
| |
I have recently needed to create a concatenation due to the number of
frames in my multi-frame image. I am somewhat confused by the
definitions in PS 3.3.
Table C.7.6.16-1 states for the Per-frame Functional Groups Sequence
that "The number of items shall be the same as the number of frames in... more »

Multiple modality LUT
|
| |
I have 2 doubts.
1. I got an image and a PR generated by Philips modality. Both image and PR are having linear modality LUT, but the values are different.
Is it ok to have different values for the modality LUT in PR and image?
2. In the application I am working, there is an option to switch PRs. So if there are multiple PRs referring the same image, we can switch between them.... more »

I have been looking at a ‘X-Ray 3D Acquisition Sequence (0018, 9507)’
and trying to determine which sequence item is containing information
about which frame of the image.
In other words, trying to determine the mapping from an ‘X-Ray 3D

Patient OrientationTag
|
| |
HI, I have some question for Patient Orientation tag in Mammography. As far as I know RCC will have P\L, LCC = A\R, RMLO = P\FL and LMLO = A\FR.
Here is my question. Why R and L MLO view will have P\FL and A\FR as their DICOM orientation value? How to explain FL and FR? What about a Latero-medial and Medial lateral view? What will be their DICOM Orientation value?... more »

Possible typos in part 15
|
| |
Hi all,
I have found two possible typos in the 2011 standard part 15 Annex
E.
They are both in table E.1-1:
- page 75: Tag value for 6th row "Performed Station Name Code
Sequence" reads (0040,0248) and should be (0040,4028)
- page 77: Tag value for 7th row "Referenced Patient Alias Sequence"... more »
