Hello,
we have a strange effect in a 56 image series of tomograms from a knee.
Maybe someone has an explanation.
All images have ascending "Slice Location" (20,1041) 0,2,4... All have
monotonously increasing or decreasing x/y/z for "Image Position"

I have a bunch of old DAT tapes in Genesis 5x format. I've written a program to extract the headers and manipulate most of the data with the intent on eventually converting it to something more useful like DICOM or NIFTI.

Possible to ensure that a complete series is received?

At UM Rad Onc we push series to our PACS, and on occasion someone will
copy it from the PACS before the push has completed, and so they only
get part of the series.
It is possible that using an incomplete series could result in an
error in treatment, so we are interested in finding a way to keep it... more »
