I just noticed that the code meanings for UCUM codes in the DCMR differ from
the UCUM standard in several cases. I know that code meanings are not the most
important thing in the world, but they are still normative and thus should be
consistent.
I propose the following clean-up (micro CP):
CID 3082:
- centimeter/second --> centimeter per second
- Heart beat per minute --> heartbeat per minute
- Herz --> Hertz
- kiloHerz --> kiloHertz
- megaHerz --> megaHertz
- Metabolic equivalent --> metabolic equivalent
- millivolt --> milliVolt
- mm/s --> millimeter per second (to be consisten with the rest of the
context group)
- volt --> Volt
CID 3500:
Contradicts PS 3.16, chapter 7.2.2: "the same string as sent in the Code Value
when an abbreviation is required (e.g. “ml/s”)"
Here, in both concepts the code meaning is abbreviated but differs from code
value. Proposition:
- mmHg --> mm[Hg] or "millimeter of mercury column"
- Kpa --> kPa for code value, possibly "kiloPascal" for code meaning
CID 3510:
- French --> french (or Charrière)
- Mm --> mm (for code value)
CID 6064:
all code meanings should be lower case (day, week, month, year)
(to be consistent with UCUM standard and CID 7456)
CID 7461 and 7462:
all prefixes should be lower case (square, cubic)
