We had an uncompressed dicom image with pixel data having length more
than expected.The same image is having
Data Set Trailing Padding Data Element (FFFC,FFFC) tag in the IOD
after pixel data.
Is there is any significance of this tag in this case?
Does this tag tell in any case that image pixels are padded at the end
by some other data.

We are validating the pixel data size before encoding by comparing the
expected pixel length with actual pixel length
How do we understand images with actual pixel length more than
expected pixel length.
Can we simply crop the extra padded data before enocoding?
Does the Data set trailing padding data element tag present in the IOD
gives any information regarding this.
