Problems With Borland C++ And Opendoors 6.0

i'm a novice C/C++ programmer, and also a sysop...so naturally i'd like to
write a door or two....but i'm having problems with compiling Opendoors 6.0
programs correctly...no matter what i do, it always either says that its an
undefined function <like i didn't include the header file, although i did>,
and i'm still unsure how the libraries work, and how to include the
libraries correctly <G>....i'm using Borland C++ 4.02, and Opendoors 6.0 <i
haven't registered it yet, though i intend to once i get it working...i'm
sure you know how that goes>..but any help is much appreciated
