I have some questions in regaurd to VB and VB .Net?

1) Is it possible to develop now or in the planned future VB or VB
.Net applications in the Macintosh environment?

2) Is it possible for a executible developed with VB or VB .Net to run
in the Macintosh environment?

3) If the answer to 1 & 2 is no, do you know of any future plans for
this support?

Thanks.

What do they do with comp.programming.threads? VB and VB .Net are
off-topic here.

Can I suggest you
comp.lang.basic.visual.misc for VB and
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb for VB.Net ?

I have some questions in regard to how you came to the conclusion that
these things are topical in a newsgroup called ``comp.programming.threads''.

Here is my hypothesis: some people must think that ``threads'' means
``discussion threads'', so comp.programming.threads is simply a newsgroup
containing discussions about programming.

Maybe the name should be changed to ``comp.programming.multi-threaded''.

or add it to comp.parallel.*, which should probably be comp.concurrent.*
anyway...

Makes sense in retrospect. However, at the time, the Lords of News groups
wanted it here, so we put it here. I don't think moving would be worth
the agony involved.

Ah yes, that makes sense. I had been wondering the same thing myself.
There seem to be more wildly off-topic posts in this newsgroup than
any other I have seen.

wrong.
have a look to borland.public.cpp.language and you will see what does
off-topic mean...

by the way, i 'm still looking for a tutorial about threads programming in
c++ with the <thread.h> classes... if you have any idea, or a little link
for me, please let me know about it.
thanks

Check with RogueWave. They have exactly this class.
