HP 5610 all-in-one 
  I had to pull apart my 5610 and a little plastic strip came out and I don't know where it goes.. Now copy and scan don't work and I suspect it's this missing strip. Anyone have a working 5610 or a detailed repair manual and can tell me where this strip goes? It is 9" by 1/2" by 0.035" thick with a nub sticking out along one... more »

reading floppies 
  I have a floppy disk that reads without problem in most machines (running windows). The other day, I was using a windows machine and the floppy just kept spinning. On putting the floppy in another computer it read without a problem. Can anyone explain this. Thanks. ps. 3.5" floppy

How to get TI-Link Signal on ttySx 
  Heya, I'm testing around a bit with the TI-Link stuff. I've set up my TI-83 (in fact, TI-82 STATS) with a custom-made serial adapter (COM1 or /dev/ttyS0). So far I've got a working TiLP on Windows and Ubuntu, everything runs well. But, when I try to capture the live hex stream on the console, I get no input/output whatsoever.... more »

Mini DV/firewire stopped working 
  I have a computer room with 10 Dell gx270s running XP SP2. I added PCI firewire cards and PCI IDE cards. I have 5 Mini DV cameras and several other hand held cameras.
