How to call ASPI in protect mode (use DJGPP) 
  I want try to send SCSI command via ASPI driver in Dos7.1 protect mode. but I don't know how to start... have any sample can read? I can use DMPI to call BIOS function.but how to call ASPI driver fun?

Config SCSI BIOS 
  The point: SCSI can not be activated in BIOS if SATA RAID present; OS will not load. The Question: How can I have my SCSI tape drive detected without loosing my OS SATA RAID installation? SCSI hard drives not seen in my comp - if this group is dead could someone point me to a group that can assist? 
  I'm hoping someone can help me here... HP Pavilion D4100E using XP Pro I got a popup error the other day: Array Management Service: Array 1, Disk SAMSUNGSP1614C (Ch.1, id0) Disk Media Error at LBA 0 cmd=0x20 status=0x51 Close this popup window and then open Array Manager to resolve the issue. write cache on adaptec 2405 
  Hi I enabled read cache on my 2405 but I disabled write cache because of the ugly warning. I wonder if this is really dangerous. I have two mirrors on my server. Will power failure ruin the mirror and make it unredable if I enable write cache. I am running linux.

How to reclaim device name after malfunction? 
  Hi Sometimes when I hotplug a SATA device to/from say /dev/sdb on my Mandriva 2009.1 system, it malfunctions/times out, and cannot be detected. Then when I plug in another SATA device, it gets detected as /dev/sdc even though /dev/sdb is no longer there. How can I reclaim /dev/sdb in this case? Thanks... more »
