I'm looking for an external enclosure (ideally a rack mount case) for
several fast SCSI hard drives. My main concern is finding a case that
keeps fast drives cool. I have yet to find a case that provides
adequate air flow over the drives. They all have fans on the back of
the case, but the front of the cases have no ventilation slots;
therefore the direct airflow over the drives is limited.

Any suggestions on where to get such a thing would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks..

Well, we make them in a variety of configurations. But I've never seen
a rack tray for drives with fans in the back but lacking an air
inlet in the front. This seems like a pretty silly way to design
a box.

Our company has a custom enclosure designed for a project that
houses two 5.25" half-height drives, one 3.5" half-height, and
one 5.25" full height drive in a rack mount enclosure, on slides,
with a fan mounted in the rear, plus the top half of the box is
slotted with grooves for air flow.

Still, to run completely cool your gonna need air conditioning.
