ABP-970UA to CD-R Problem

Hi, I have a G4 400 Mac with a PCI ABP-970UA card installed.I am running a
Matshita CD-R CW-7502(4x write) in an external case with a Cent.50 pin
connector.The CD-R is at I.D No.4 with a terminator on the second output of
the case.I am using Toast 4.0 as the driver. When I burn a CD under the Mac
files and folder preference it burns ok, but when I want to burn a Disk
Image Toast tells me I have a connection problem and to check my SCSI cables
and termination. I cant work out whether this is a card,cable or CD problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
