Help please with h-p DeskJet 3420

I just bought a second-hand Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 3420 USB printer for use
with my old Mac G4 computer and OSX 10.2.8 (Jaguar) operating system, as my
old printer developed a fault and modern printers are no longer compatible
with my system.

epson EPL-5800L has gone nut

I have a laser printer from epson (EPL-5800L)
that has gone nut.
It prints blank pages ... it stops paper in the middle
but there is no paper jam ... it prints correctely,
then goes nut again ...
I check even the sensors, I tried every version of driver
for win, mac, linux ... same behaviour, so it's hardware... more »

HP Low toner alert settings

Hi - I'm wondering if there is a way to view directly on the printer what the low toner threshold is set at? (10/20/30%?) I'm also wondering if there is a way to change the setting?
I know there are programs, including some from HP that you can setup to alert you when the toner is low, but I need to find out at what % remaining that the trigger is set at. Also I would like to be able to change the % to a different value.... more »

HP 5L fails to feed

The paper feeds in about 2" and then stops. I think I need new feed rollers but don't know where to get them. Anybody have a suggestion? Or aren't the feed rollers my problem?
