thanks for the info in advance.
> 2)) what is the cheapest brand of color refill ink that produces the best
results that is available locally in Vancouver, Canada??
2) Not too sure, I'm trying to look for one in Victoria. Found this though
http://www.inkmagic.com/ they're from Calgary but great prices, especially
when bulk goes on their system. they have free shipping over $50, and
discounts once and awhile. The site has gone down momentarily, well some of
it.
> 3)) Is there any other way to get the ink into the cartridge besides using
a syringe??
3) I don't think so. But I could be wrong heres a great "how to" site on
refilling http://www.misterinkjet.com/t-c6615.htm and
http://www.misterinkjet.com/t-c6625.htm
this one has videos http://www.4inkjet.com/refin.html
> 4)) When using a syringe to inject the ink, how does one get residual ink
completely out of the syringe before filling up the next color reservoir so
as not to contaminate the next ink reservoir??
4) I think you just clean it with water. Suck and release, until the
water/tube becomes clear. Most kits come with syringes for each color
note: I havent bought any ink at InkMagic.com, and I havent refilled a
cartridge in months. I just bought an HP PSC 750 a few weeks ago [no need to
refill yet], and wanted to learn the cheapest way to get cartridges. and the
above is what I've found out
Hope this helps

The #17 color cartridge comes from the factory with 5ml of each color, but
will hold 10ml to 13ml. The problem is, you really don't know how much ink
is still in the cartridge (other than in the one chamber that ran out). I
would suggest using 5ml as a safe bet. Plus, if you mess up, you haven't
lost that much ink. I also suggest refilling BEFORE the ink actually runs
out. You might have to weigh the cartidge by feel or on a scale to know
when it's getting low.

Can't help you there.

The syringe is the way to go. I suggest looking fo one with a 3 to 4 inch
needle to get the ink as close to the printhead as possible. I tried with
a standard 1.5 inch needle and ended up with air pockets in the sponge.

A thourough water rinse does the job. Draw water in and plunge it out a
few times until the water is visually clear. Then disassemble the syringe
and rinse the inside and outside one more time to get any ink that might
be in the crevasses of the pluger and needle.
