Had enough time today and managed to solve this. Had to update the
Bootfile and the firmware and it's working fine again now.

first choose country then make and model.
Installing the Companion Suite and the drivers is necessary to update.
Connect printer and PC with a USB cable then start the "Companion
firmware update" and now comes the trick:
press 4, 6 and 2 simultaneously and power the printer up. It says now
"receiving file" in it's display. Choose the bootfile first, when
successful power down the printer and proceed in the exact same manner
for the new firmware.
