I don't mean this sarcastically, but quit dreaming. I have a dead one of
those here, and it never printed pictures well. Did nice text and clipart
etc., but horrible at pictures. I too tried every tweak in the book, use
that energy for something better.

Who are kidding... there's no other way to take it!

Well, I don't mean this sarcastically, but if you don't have anything
useful to say, don't say anything at all.

You obviously didn't read my previous post very carefully.
As I pointed out:

" I do know that the printer can only do 360dpi... this isn't
the problem. The problem seems to be related to the
"halftone" settings in the printer driver."

I'm not looking for great "photo quality" pictures, but I've seen
pictures printed on the BJC-600 in the past and the quality was 100
times better than what I'm getting. If you like, I can scan in a
printout of what I'm getting and show you just how bad it is. It's
obvious that something is wrong or not set properly on my end. That's
why I asked for the help.

If you have anything "useful" to say, I'd be glad to hear from you.

Thank you,

I'm sorry if I offended, but this isn't a good picture printer. Some
suggestions: Make sure all the dip switches are set to US defaults. I didn't
notice when I updated the software if there was any difference inpicture
quality, try different versions of their software.

Actually, I did find a solution to the problem. Someone emailed me
and told me to try the Microsoft BJC-600 drivers that came with
Windows. That seems to have fixed it.

Thanks,
