Borderless prints from OS X 10.4.11

This is a duplicate of a posting on comp.sys.mac.misc. It occurred to
me somebody here might have an answer.

I tried to print some borderless prints using Preview on my Canon i9100.
This used to work, but now I get a small border.
I don't use this printer anymore except if I have to have borderless
prints so I don't know when it changed or if I am suddenly doing
something wrong. In the setup panel, I am selecting 4x6 (borderless),
same as I always did.
