Getting started with PVM

Hi everyone:

I am setting up an Ubuntu Linux PVM. The Ubuntu is a fresh install
without any compilers still installed. Wanted to ask if there is a
document that I can follow to go through the setup or what will be the
prerequisites. I did try to download the PVM source and compiled it,
but ran into a lot of errors. I might be missing to install a
component?

Appreciate any help.
