Hi,

I have been using PVM succesffuly for the past few years. Recently I
have run into this issue.

I am working in a new environment where the ssh login is setup such
that at login a warning message is diplayed giving the user the rules
associated with the connection. When I try to add hosts in this
envoronment, pvm gives an error saying that the ssh connection is not
allowed between the two hosts. Since the ssh connection works fine, I
am attributing the error to the "warning" message.

I also checked the source code for the routine that is called when
checking the ssh connection. It essetially sends an "echo YES" command
to the host and then expects YES on the first line of the data
returned. In this case the data returned has the warning message at
the front and so the check fails.

Has anyone come across this problem before? Is there a fix without
rurning off the warning message? Any feedback/help would be highly
appreciated. Thanks.
