Hi,
I am developing an application in Visual Studio, it will be later
ported to VxWorks. But it has to communicate with other modules in
VxSim over TCP/IP. Is it possible to communicate with VxSim directly
using TCP/IP? Or do i need to install any other services?

Yes, It is possible to communicate with VxSim using TCP/IP. Please refer to “WindRiver VxWorks Simulator User Guide” section 39
