monitor of specific processes

I tried looking for what I want in a number of places with no luck, you can point me to it if you happen to know where I may find it,
I need to monitor the following and not sure how to go about it hence why I was looking, we want to monitor the system and record for all the top process, cpu, users, dio and bio. I think that was it, and then hourly mail it. is it possible to do in one command procedure/output file. I have T4 running but it is unable to give us the detail needed.... more »

DIFF strange behavior

hi, I intended to use DIFF to compare 2 directories but doing so I
found something that looks strange to me. it must be me who don't
understand something.
$ type dir_1.txt
toto.txt;1
toto.txt;2
toto.txt;3
toto.txt;4
toto.txt;5
toto.txt;6
$ type dir_2.txt
toto.txt;1
toto.txt;6
