I forgot that we have TCPIP$POP_LOG_LEVEL defined to THREAD on our systems, which adds to the detail recorded in the logfile. For normal operation, especially if you have hundreds of clients, each configured to check its mailbox every 5 minutes, you may not want to capture that much information.
