RSTS/E SIMH
|
| |
I hope this is the right place to ask this question...
The last time I seriously played with RSTS/E, I was 12 or 13. I used to own a real PDP 11/23, but my wife refused to ship it to where we live now, the UK... so, I built an emulated one years ago using simh.
Somehow, at the time, I managed to copy things between linux and rsts/e. I... more »

SIMH to stage MicroRSTS/E for actual MicroPDP11/53
|
| |
I also posted this on the SIMH list, but just in case anyone is paying attention here...
Since my MicroPDP11/53 has no tape drive (and I don't have a floppy
install set for MicroRSTS), I had the idea to install the complete OS

I've written a device driver that pretends to look like a file system without using any ACP. It implements most functions an ACP normally implement. It also have some "odd" attributes set on the device to represent both what it actually is, and also to... more »

PDP-11/74 pictures...
|
| |
I received a wonderful link from Dave Carroll today, with pictures of a 4 CPU PDP-11/74 system. The system, unfortunately, does not exist anymore, but if anyone still had any lingering doubts, these are some beautiful pictures... [link]... more »
