I've got a relatively newer machine (dell optiplex gx620) which
i'm trying to install p9 on. sadly, there are no ps/2 ports. i could
get it to install fine, but the booting stops at the "boot from"
prompt. and that is when the usb keyboard stops responding.

i tried to boot with usbdebug=2 and this is what i see:

/boot/usbd: /dev/usb/epl1.0 port 1: sts - 0x0 -> r 0x10
/boot/usbd: /dev/usb/epl1.0: port 2 attach sts 0x201
/boot/usbd: /dev/usb/epl1.0: port 2: attached status 0x203
/boot/usbd: opendev 0x58a90 /dev/usb/ep5.0
/boot/usbd: /dev/usb/ep1.0: port 2: setaddress: request timed out
/boot/usbd: closedev 0x58a90 /dev/usb/ep5.0
/boot/usbd: fsadd usbdctl

is there any way i can get it to go?
thanks.

It seems your device is not accepting its address.
Any back-compat option in the bios you can switch on/off ?

was it a warm reboot, or a cold one?

Drop me a line off-list with the info and I'll try to help.
