OS-9 and GCC
|
| |
Hi,
I'm new to this group, but are there any GCC experts in here, who would like to support in getting a current GCC to generate code for OS-9. Ideally, this would go into the mainstream GCC then...

My homebuilt os9 systems
|
| |
Hi,
Many years go I built various 68020/68000/68008 systems on experimenters print (wirewrap). All run
OS9, and I wrote the monitor/bootloaders in assembler, and also device drivers for the various chips in use.
To get these running I often 'switched off' the crc check in the kernel, just change 1byte :-) All systems hook together in a NFS network.... more »

Need XDOS system disks for Motorola EXORset 110
|
| |
Not OS-9 related, but hopefully a 6809 user can help - I recently received a very nice EXORset 110, a 6809-based development station built by Motorola in the early 1980's. It has a resident ROM monitor (EXORbug) but is meant to be used with XDOS, a disk-based system. Can anyone help me out with a copy of the disks for this box?... more »

I need to access some data from Linux that's currently on .lzh archives on OS-9 formatted 3.5" floppies. I appreciate knowing if:
- there is any Linux software that can transfer the archived data to disk/floppy/flash media in either FAT or ext2/3/4 format. It needs
run on my Linux box (RedHat Fedora 16/17).... more »

Hi folks,
maybe a kind soul here can help me.
When one formats a floppy on an 1992 OS-9, which file system is that?
We need to get data from an old ESR device into Linux, I hope there will
be a way....
And: Is there a chance to that ancient machine into a lan? One can find
stuff like "arpa" in the config files :-)... more »

UltraC Dynamic Shared Libraries to release in v5.3
|
| |
Microware OS-9 v5.3 will have a nice new tool for automating the creation of UltraC Dynamic Shared Libraries (DSL) called dslgen. The dslgen tool along with an updated UltraC compiler, take an I-code library (e.g. mylib.il) as input, and generates a dsl module (e.g. mylibdsl) and a static stub library (e.g. mylibdsl.l). The tool handles all the hard stuff to dereference shared global data and function pointers.... more »
