Hi folks!

Recently I finished my project to save several OS-9 formatted disks
(contains a backup of an OS-9 level 1 development system of a company I
worked for some years ago). These disks were from around 1989 to 1991.
To my surprise all disks could be read in without errors.

The special challenge was that the disks format has the first track in
single density (FM) which is not readable for common PC hardware for
years!

If someone wants to know more details about hardware and software with
which I was successful, look into

In cases where a build-up of a special "old" PC hardware is not the way
you can/want to go, we can arrange something (send the disks and I try the
read them in).

It would be interesting if this problem, to read OS-9 disks exists somewhere
else and if my solution is helpful for someone ...
