Hi,
Many years go I built various 68020/68000/68008 systems on experimenters print (wirewrap). All run
OS9, and I wrote the monitor/bootloaders in assembler, and also device drivers for the various chips in use.
To get these running I often 'switched off' the crc check in the kernel, just change 1byte :-) All systems hook together in a NFS network.

I like os9 very much, and have written all kinds of software. Including graphic library and a lot of DSP (digital signal processing):
Morse, packet, bpsk, fft, oscilloscope,, fileters etc. All just for fun.

Some time ago my scsi-board broke down, I and just today I managed to rebuilt it and got is running again...

In case you're interested take a look at www.dutch.nl/bdj. If you need more info pse let me know!

Hi Bas,

nice work indeed!

Could you post some images and source code of your graphics board since
I also plan to build myself an OS-9 system and am currently searching
for an approproate graphics board.

Best regards,
Jonathan

I'm very interested in the bootloader information. I have here an Australian SECAD AS-68K which has a damaged boot ROM, so doesn't boot anymore. I have several other OS-9/68K machines (MM/1, Atari STe) and would love to resurrect the SECAD.

The SECAD is a 68000 based computer with an IBM ISA (8-bit) bus. Keyboard and serial ports are on-board, but everything else is using IBM PC cards (multi-io, cga/ega/vga and hard disk)

Very nice! A friend of mine is bringing up his OS9 machine (6809-based)
and got me interested in this topic. I've got a few chips and some
wire-wrap wire sitting around, so I might just have to try it!
