I've installed the IrDA drivers on my ThinkPad T43, and they appear to
be loaded and working OK.

However, they refuse to recognize my Android phone when I activate its
Infrared file transfer, even with the infrared port a few millimetres
away. PMIRDA.EXE doesn't see it, the XCenter widget doesn't see it,
and querying via the IrDA REXX library doesn't see it.

Under Windows XP on the same ThinkPad, the phone is detected instantly
and infrared file transfer works. Evidently there's something missing
from the equation under OS/2.

Anybody have any idea how to get this working? Or are the OS/2 IrDA
drivers just not up to it?

I should mention, no special software or driver was installed on
WXP; it worked out of the box.

Also, I had the same problem with my previous (non-Android) cellphone.
