Is there anyone who is trying to port Java and Hot Java under OS/2? I am
willing to participate in this project. I have Watcom 10.0 and BC++ 2.0
I am currently working on Java under Win NT (building a WWW browser with
better capabilities compared to Hot Java) and I would like to port all
this stuff under OS/2. I think that porting Java and Hot Java in WARP will
require the TCP/IP dev. kit. I can not afford the money to buy this stuff
from Greece (it costs over 800$). Is there a cheaper way to get this kit?

I'm planning to rebuild HotJava for OS/2.

To answer your question, there is an implementation of the sockets library
in the emx (gcc) distribution.
