2 PC's to Internet w/ Warp Connect

Hi Everybody,
I have a question about TCPIP networking. I current have 2 PC's
that I would like to get on the Internet simultaneously. Both PC's
are connected to each other over BNC Ethernet. The my father's PC has a
second ethernet card that connects to a cable modem. Is it possible
to set up Warp Connect on a third machine to act as a gateway for
the 2 PC's? What would I need to do this? Both PC's are currently
running Win95. I do not want to deal with proxy servers since my
brother plays net games and I don't want the hassle of adding
new proxies for every game, plus I am a Netrek fan and it needs UDP.
What can I use under Connect to forward packets. The cable modem
is provided by MediaOne. They use Dynamic IP addressing. Will this
cause any problems?

You do not need a third machine. I use Warp Connect with bind and socks, and NT 4 with a cable modem.

I think you should use Injoy dialer, it has IP masquerading.

Hello Mike,
Warp Connect can act as a "router". I call the router PC1. It has two
IP interfaces, local and remote. The local one is the one that it uses
to talk to the PCs in your house(PC2 and PC3). The remote one is the
one that connects to the internet via the cable modem. In TCPCFG you
just enable IP forwarding.
Now for the diffuclt part. You will have a total of 4 IP address. There
will be two in PC1, one for each IP interface, and one each for PC2 and
PC3. At least three of these MUST be real Internet address, one on each
PC. On PC1 the IP address on the ethernet card does not have to be
real, just the one on the cable modem. Why? Well without a proxy
server the internet will see "PC2" and "PC3" real IP addresses, and
therefor must be able to route these back to you. So your ISP must
provide you with 3 internet address. My guess is that they will charge
you for 3 accounts and, unless your ISP support DHCP, these must be
FIXED address. You can not have the address assigned when you connect,
as many ISPs do.

Mike,
If you get the Injoy Dialer you can use one PC to make the connection
even if you only have one dynamic IP from your ISP. It is very simple
and works quite well. I think Injoy is $35 to register.
