Which possibilities or protocols do I have to access network drives
over tcpip?
NFS? SMB? SAMBA?

I want to access NAS hardware and also internet (web) drives which
some providers offer.

What do I have to install additional to the tcpip drivers?

In theory all of them.
But most likely you will end up with either IBM Peer (built-in) or samba
with netdrive. SMB and SAMBA are different types of objects. You can't
compare them. SMB is the protocol while samba is one possible
implementation of the SMB protocol. IBM Peer is another one.
IBM Peer has a better integration in the OS. SAMBA supports files > 2GB.

Be warned. Cheap NAS solutions are sometimes buggy with respect to OS/2.
Either EAs are not working correctly or even worse.

I'm not sure. Sometimes it is samba, sometimes webDAV. Is webdav
possible with os2?
