Except that 'ver' actually reports 4.50 (or whatever) anyway. The /r
also includes the kernel revision (which will be wrong if you've
manually updated the kernel).

That doesn't give you the internal version number. Fromver /r:
The Operating System/2 Version is 4.50
Revision 14.093
From PMDF:
Dump file is --> Internal revision 14.093_W4 (system dump)
The combination of bldlevel and the Mark I Eyeball should give you what
you want. Strip out the #@:
